Don’t sleep on it

If by some stroke of luck or whatever reason you have a solid academic or professional record, a heart for Africa’s development plus bankable leadership potentials, African Development Bank Group wants you on their 2020 Young Professional Program and if Germany is your kinda place, the Afrika Kommt! Fellowship 2020/2022 for young professionals is open for applications. You’re welcome.

Remember January

Consider this your friendly reminder that when December is over, January will show up with the resolutions, bills and 77 days. The smart ones will lock some money away in their ALAT Stash now, paint town their favourite colour with the rest and enter 2020 secured. We know you’re smart.

Weekend Groove

You can spend your Friday Night Out at the Vellvett Lounge in VI and on Saturday, show up at the Malta Guinness Utopia Party at Landmark Event Centre. From 6 PM same Saturday, The Fuse Nation wants to treat you to games night with music and cool people at the Nest in Yaba. Do whatever makes you happy on Sunday please. And if you can, register to attend the 2019 Mentor Matchup Challenge on Monday, at the Oriental Hotel, VI, Lagos.

FYI

World Health Organisation says 1 in 4 Nigerians suffers from some sort of mental illness. Basically, chances are that 1 out of 4 people you know (which could be you) is suffering from some kind of mental illness. Put this to heart, make room for people’s excesses and treat yourself and others with a bit more kindness.

Have a terrific weekend!
